Charlie Beck

As technology transforms industries, Charlie Beck’s experience in both law and business makes him a versatile consultant who solves complex and ambiguous business problems with 360-degree thinking. He seamlessly connects a company’s business model, financial strategy, and legal challenges into a coherent and unified path to the future. Charlie Beck’s background is focused on strategy, product management, business transactions, and complex financial negotiations. While at Elevate Services, Charlie held multiple roles including positions both in the products and services verticals. Charlie led the full product lifecycle of Elevate’s contract management software product, including comprehensive market fit analysis, prototyping, working with developers to build the product, and go-to-market strategies. As the Director of Contracting at Elevate, Charlie managed a team of attorneys based in the US, Philippines, and India. His team assisted in-house counsel with contract overflow and process improvement solutions. Prior to joining Elevate Services, Charlie was a Consulting Manager at Morae Global. Charlie led legal tech evaluation and implementation engagements for Fortune 500 Corporations. With a deep understanding of legal department’s pain points, he created innovative solutions through revising inefficient processes and utilizing cutting-edge technology. Additionally, after Morae’s acquisition of the Clutch Group in 2017, Charlie led the project management and integration of Morae Global’s US and Indian Contract Management functions. Prior to joining Morae Global, Charlie was at Motorola Mobility as Business Development and Commercial Strategy Counsel. There he focused on domestic and international contract negotiations and business strategy. He also worked as Director of Contracting and Pricing for Walgreens where he led contract negotiations in excess of $6 billion in revenue. His experience also includes negotiations and contract management for a level I trauma center in downtown Minneapolis and a legal intern at the Shanghai Patent and Trademark Law Office in Shanghai, China. Charlie received his MBA with honors from the University of Notre Dame in 2016. He also holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio and a Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Charlie lives in Minneapolis with his wife Marcy and dog Pearl.
